My Concept Map

Ok- here is my first attempt at a concept map for my project.  I'm not totally sure I'm doing this right because the book we are using had examples that made my study seem too small.  So, eiher my study is small in comparison or I'm missing several details.

Pilot to Final

So as we discuss our pilot study (phase 2) of our action research project, I'm thinking about how my pilot study may evolve into my final study.  It may be to add more teachers to my technology core team since more money for stipends may be available at that time.  I think that may be too weak though.  I have also thought about taking the existing team, adding more members and structuring it more as a mentor type model or simply focus more on the social learning component.  I'm nebulous currently.  I'm concerned about my disseration defense because we are essentially overlapping.  I'm doing my pilot while I'm trying to predict exactly how the final study will be before the pilot is finished.  I'm stressing a little just thinking about it. The example the professor gave had to do with a study on movement and behaviour with a kindergarten class as a pilot and graduating to teaching this concept to a first grade teacher and replicating the study on that first grade class.  This amplification showed that the action can be replicated successfully.  I have to keep that in mind as I proceed to ensure my two studies serve to validate each other.
